How to install wordpress? (Without softaculous)

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Access cPanel

1. Log in to your cPanel account. You can access it by navigating to your web hosting provider's website and logging in with your credentials.

Step 2: Create a Database

2. In the cPanel dashboard, look for the "Databases" section and click on "MySQL Database Wizard."

3. Create a new database by following the on-screen instructions. Remember the database name, username, and password you set; you'll need them for WordPress installation.

Step 3: Download WordPress

4. Visit the official WordPress website (https://wordpress.org/) and download the latest version of WordPress.

5. Extract the downloaded file on your local computer.

Step 4: Upload WordPress Files

6. Return to cPanel and find the "File Manager" under the "Files" section.

7. Navigate to the public_html directory (or the directory where you want to install WordPress).

8. Upload all the WordPress files you extracted earlier to this directory.

Step 5: Install WordPress

9. Open a web browser and go to your website's URL (e.g., http://yourdomain.com).

10. You will see the WordPress installation page. Select your preferred language and click "Continue."

11. WordPress will prompt you to enter your database information. Fill in the database name, username, and password you created earlier. The database host is usually "localhost" unless your hosting provider specifies otherwise.

12. Click "Submit" to proceed.

13. WordPress will verify your database information and display a confirmation screen. Click "Run the installation."

14. On the next screen, fill in your website's details, such as site title, username, password, and email address. These will be your login credentials for the WordPress dashboard.

15. Click "Install WordPress."

Step 6: Access Your WordPress Dashboard

16. Once the installation is complete, you'll see a success message. Click "Log In" to access your WordPress dashboard.

17. Enter the username and password you created earlier, then click "Log In."

Step 7: Customize Your WordPress Site

18. You're now inside your WordPress dashboard. Here, you can choose a theme, install plugins, create and publish posts and pages, and customize your website to your liking.

That's it! You've successfully installed WordPress on cPanel. You can start building your website and publishing content right away. If you encounter any issues during the installation process, refer to  support documentation or contact our support team for assistance.
